Scheduled - KSU Reservations Portal, a new academic and event scheduling system, will replace the current system, EMS.

In preparation for this transition, EMS will not be accessible beginning at 8 a.m. on Monday, April 28, and no new event requests can be submitted until the portal reopens for campus reservations on Monday, May 19.

Update - There is work that will be done this Saturday, 4/19 that will involve a large crane. Work is scheduled for 7:00 AM-3:00 PM. Both the 3rd and 4th floors will be primarily impacted by the project along with the loading dock areas for Burruss Building and the Commons. It is essential that those areas remain unoccupied during this timeframe. No utilities will be affected.

Scheduled - Boiler Plant Project begins today, Monday, April 7 and will be completed by mid-July. This will involve demolition of the existing boiler system, construction to the surrounding area on the roof, and installation of new equipment. The heating component of the HVAC system will be non-operational starting today and will remain so throughout the month of April. The HVAC air conditioning system and the hot water heating system in the building will remain unaffected.

Scheduled - Our team is still continuing to address the elevator outage at the West Deck on the Marietta Campus (aka P60 Deck). We are in the process of obtaining the necessary parts to conduct repairs. Updates on our progress will be provided as the repairs continue.
Impact: Elevator #2 is currently out of order. The other elevator in the parking deck is in service.

The Global Protect VPN can still downloaded by navigating to https://vpn.kennesaw.edu/global-protect/getsoftwarepage.esp.

Scheduled Maintenance on Ground Floor at 385 Sturgis Library May 12, 2025 07:00 - May 17, 2025 00:00 EDT

We have identified that water has surfaced through a small section of the wall near the Bentley Museum, located on the ground floor of the library. Currently, the affected area is cordoned off with plastic sheeting, and a dehumidifier has been placed to extract moisture from the environment. We are monitoring conditions in this area on a daily basis to ensure safety. During the week of May 12, technicians will systematically remove each brick from the wall to thoroughly assess the situation and determine the source of the water intrusion. The ongoing work in this area will generate significant noise. We will provide an update if there is a need to temporarily shut off the water supply.
